Below is a curated guide to the active 2026 Initiative Petitions (IPs) that deserve your support, the specific legal requirements for signing them, and the measures we must oppose to protect our state’s future.
Priority Petitions to Sign
These measures focus on fundamental reforms to our voting systems, public safety, and tax burdens. Note: Each petition has strict printing and mailing requirements to ensure your signature counts.
IP 37 – Prohibits most vote-by-mail elections, requiring in-person voting with photo ID and proof of citizenship for registration. https://www.endvbm.com/sign

Ballot Initiative Petition’s To Avoid:
IP 28 – Known as the “PEACE Act,” it would criminalize the killing or injury of animals by removing existing exemptions for hunting, fishing, and farming.
