Title: Call for Live Q&A Forum for Homeless Shelter Plans
Dear Mayor, City Council and City Manager,
I urge the City Council, Mayor, and City Manager to hold a live Q&A session on the homeless crisis. The public deserves clear information about the size, scope, and potential locations of any future homeless shelter.
The city must show restraint, our community does not need a large, expandable homeless complex. We need reassurance the property is small and not expandable. In addition, we need assurance that any shelter will be managed by nonprofits (not the city), funded privately, have rules that are enforced and how the shelter will affect the current encampments.
Please provide answers and engage with residents in an open, live forum.
